My Story
Jadan King was born and raised in Lucedale, Mississippi, where her love
for singing began at an early age. What started as a childhood passion
quickly grew into a calling. By the age of 14, she was leading praise and
worship at her local church, walking confi dently in both her gift and her
anointing.
Her exceptional talent led her to compete in the Church of God
(Cleveland, TN) State Teen Talent Competition, where she earned the title
of Female Soloist of the Year three consecutive years — a remarkable
achievement that marked the beginning of a promising music career.
However, just as her dreams were taking fl ight, Jadan faced a life-altering
challenge. At 19, she was diagnosed with heart disease. In the midst of
uncertainty, her faith never wavered. She continued to trust Jesus for
healing while pressing forward in her calling.
At 20 years old, while leading worship in a small country church in
Mississippi, Jadan experienced a miraculous healing. Soon after, she
released her debut solo project, Harvest Time, produced by Grammy
Award-winning artist Jason Crabb. That same year, she joined the
nationally known Southern Gospel group The Perry Sisters, traveling
across the country and sharing the Gospel through song.
Jadan later released her second solo project, Walk On, which brought
multiple nominations and accolades. Her single “Get To Him” reached #1
on the Inspirational Country charts, and she was nominated for Female
Vocalist of the Year in 2013.
Today, Jadan’s greatest passion remains leading people into the presence
of Jesus Christ through praise and worship. She currently serves as the
Praise and Worship Leader at New Vision Cathedral in Lincolnville, South
Carolina, continuing to impact lives with her testimony, voice, and
unwavering faith.
